Our Mission

Evangelize the Lost

"And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations…" (Luke 24:47)

"…the harvest is truly plenteous…" (Matthew 9:37)

Equip the Church

"May the God of peace…equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him…" (Hebrews 13:12 - NIV)

To equip is to repair, restore, and prepare. The soldier doesn’t enter war without being properly equipped with weaponry that ensures victory. He goes into battle with the reassuring confidence that if he becomes bloodstained by the enemy there is a hospital that will repair, restore and prepare him for dominance. It is the churches responsibility to become a hospital for the bloodstained in battle. We must equip people not for mediocrity but superiority.

Mobilize the Ministry

"After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come." (Luke 10:1)

Jesus recognized the people that would build the kingdom. He then mentored and mobilized them into ministry. Thus, the world was turned upside down. We must mobilize the ministry!

Go by Giving

"And he said unto them, go ye into all the world…" (Mark 16:15)

Where we cannot go physically, we can go financially.

What We Believe

APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE

We believe the New Testament church is built upon the foundation of the apostles, prophets, and Jesus Christ, who is the chief cornerstone of the church. Therefore, the foundation of our beliefs, imperatives, and actions are based upon the literal word of God. We seek to glorify God through applying the principles of His word to our every day lives (Ephesians 2:20-22).

BIBLE

The Bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living (2 Timothy 3:15-17).

GOD

There is one God, who has revealed Himself in three primary roles, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh. He is both God and man (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1Timothy 3:16).

SIN & SALVATION

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Because we have sinned we believe everyone must be born again of water and Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-5). Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).

GOSPEL

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin), water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit (resurrection) with the evidence of speaking with other tongues (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4; 37-39; Acts 10:44-48; Romans 6:3-4).

CHRISTIAN LIVING

As Christians we strive to exemplify the words of Jesus Christ to Love God with all our hearts, soul, and mind, as well as loving others. We should live a holy life inwardly and outwardly, and worship God joyfully. The supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including healing, are for the church today (Matthew 22:37-39; Mark 12:28-31; 2 Corinthians 7:1; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10).

THE FUTURE

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)

Core Values

CHRIST AS OUR HEAD - We acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of our church and willingly submit ourselves to His will. “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.” Ephesians 1:22-23

BIBLE CENTERED TEACHING - We strive to teach and preach God’s word with integrity and authority so people can grow and mature spiritually. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." Tim. 3:16

PRAYER - We depend on private as well as corporate prayer to direct us in the planning and execution of all ministries and functions of the church. “But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.” Acts 6:4

EVANGELISM - We believe Jesus Christ came to “seek and save the lost.” We are responsible to pursue, win, and disciple the unchurched. “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

FAMILY - We believe there is nothing more important than strong families. Therefore, we strive to give biblical instruction that serves as a wall of protection that will keep the family unit together. “He and all his family were devout and God-fearing…and prayed to God regularly.” Acts 10:2

PRAISE & WORSHIP - We believe in giving all glory and honor to the Lord Jesus Christ through the celebration of praise and worship. We praise Him for what he has done and we worship Him for who He is. “Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs… Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Psalm 100:2,4

GODLY LEADERSHIP - We believe everything rises and falls with leadership. Therefore, we strive diligently to live godly and holy in this present world. We attempt to maintain a leadership team that others can trust and follow, resulting in spiritual growth. This is accomplished through accountability and communication. “Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God…” 2 Peter 3:11-12

MINISTRY EXCELLENCE - Since God gave His best (Himself), we seek to honor Him by maintaining a high standard of excellence in all our ministries and activities. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Col. 3:23:24

GOD'S GRACE & MERCY - We encourage one another to serve Jesus Christ through hearts of love and gratitude, not guilt and condemnation. “But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, (5) made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions-it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5

WORLD MISSIONS - We believe in taking the gospel to the whole world. Where we cannot go physically we can financially. We are committed to supporting both home missions and foreign missions as God enables us to do so. “For even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid again and again when I was in need." Phil. 4:16
